When I had this error code 14, I called TataSky. They sent a technician who informed us that this error is rare but occurs sometimes. According to him it is due to a system bug in TataSky wherein a hitch in automatic periodic updating of account information (may be including “upon recharging” as told by you above) causes the blockage. In my case nearly one month’s subscription positive balance was still there. The technician took less than two minutes to set it right by contact to TataSky from his mobile phone and a few key presses on the TV remote & the TataSky remote.
TataSky have notified me a service charge of Rs:175/= for this. I have told them that as it was only a TataSky system bug I cannot be asked to pay service charges. They assured me to resolve the issue within 72 hours, i.e, by 18-04-2021. It will be interesting for me to see what will be their resolution.
