Goa All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) recently launched a new scheme called Griha Laxmi, which provides assured monthly income support to every household. Under this scheme, a direct transfer of ₹5000 per month (₹60000 yearly) will be made to a woman of every household as guaranteed income support.
To be eligible for this scheme the beneficiary that is the woman of the household need to get registered for the Griha Laxmi Scheme by obtaining a Griha Laxmi Card. However, the registration process to apply for the Griha Laxmi Scheme has been kept very simple and completely online, but for those who are not comfortable with online mode then for them, the offline mode is also available.

How to Register for Griha Laxmi Card Online
To register for Griha Laxmi Card visit the official website https://grihalaxmicard.in/
In the registration form box, enter your 10 digits mobile number and click on the begin registration button
You will receive a one-time-password on your registered mobile number
Enter the same in the next field and click on the submit button
On the next page, you will need to fill up your details like your full name, gender, age, address, pin code, and assembly constituency, etc.
Once filling up these details, just click on the submit button
On the next screen, your Griha Laxmi Card will be generated by greeting you a message “Congratulations! Your Griha Laxmi Card is successfully activated”
To download your card just scroll down the page and tap on the Download The Card button
Your card will be downloaded in a PDF file version, which you can store on your phone safely for future reference.
On the front view of your card 11 digits, UID number will be visible and on the backside, 4 digits PIN will be visible.
To check the authenticity of your card you can send the below SMS format

Griha Laxmi Card Offline Registration
Fill the registration form with a Goa TMC volunteer and receive Griha Laxmi Card on the spot
Authenticate the card by sending an SMS to 97620 97620 with<Unique Identification Number>, <Beneficiary Name>
The Unique identification number is the 11 digit alpha-numeric UID code present at the bottom left corner of the card
Upon successful registration, the registrant will receive a 4 digits unique pin via SMS
Note this PIN number on the backside of the Griha Laxmi card
Griha Laxmi is a guaranteed income support scheme that will provide assured monthly income support of ₹5000 (₹60,000 yearly) to a woman of every household.
If you do not have a bank account, you can still receive the benefit. Once Goa TMC forms the government, a government official will guide you through the process to receive funds, based on the details we collect now.
It is advised to keep the card safely. However, we have the Unique Identification Number (UID) of everyone registering through SMS or online confirmation, which can be used to reissue the card in the future.
