Tata Sky which is one of the major DTH Operator in India is offering a special offer in which if you exchange your existing Reliance Digital TV you would get a new connection of Tata Sky absolutely for free without paying anything.

The best thing about this offer is, after the migration all the balance present in your Reliance Digital TV would get transferred to your Tata Sky Account.

Sir/Ma’am, Tata Sky has special offers for Reliance Digital TV subscribers, w.e.f. 26th Oct’17. Subs will be able to buy a new Tata Sky connection, without paying any additional charges for the connection, post which you may choose your package from a range of packages at applicable rates. (TSA to refer to Acquisition offers sheet)

Also, Balance in your Reliance Digital TV account will be credited in the new Tata Sky account, post-activation.

I have booked the offer through your call centre, what else do need to do?

Sir/Ma’am, you just need to provide an existing Reliance Digital TV box ready for replacement. Tata Sky’s special acquisition offer will be activated only after you deposit the same to us. Please also share your box ID, RMN, and subscriber ID so that your remaining balance of Reliance Digital TV can be credited to your new Tata Sky account.

Which box will I get from Tata Sky as part of the free box offer?

Sir/Ma’am, if you have an LCD or an LED TV we recommend that you go for the free HD box. Else, you can opt for a free SD box also.

Do have to pay for pack charges?

Yes Sir/Ma’am, only the box will be available at no additional cost. You can choose whichever pack you want to use, as per your requirements. Pack charges will apply as per applicable rates.

During migration, will there be days won’t get to watch TV due to the migration?

Since you have already booked the connection, the installation process of your new Tata Sky connection is extremely quick and hence you can continue to watch your favorite programs seamlessly.

Second: With respect to LDP validity, eligible annual pack amount will also be credited to your new Tata sky account within 7 days of activation. You will also be informed of balance credit in your account through an SMS notification.

What if there are certain channels have subscribed on Reliance, but not available on Tata Sky?

Tata Sky offers over 639 channels and services currently, which is much higher than any DTH player in the country. We will surely be able to provide your required and best suited channel or services. You may choose from a range of packs of Tata Sky, as per your requirements.

What will happen to my Reliance Digital TV existing STB?

Sir/Ma’am, we will collect the Reliance Digital TV STB from your premises, as the special offer is available only against the return of existing Reliance Digital STB.

Sir/Ma’am, we understand your requirement. You may opt for Tata Sky MultiTV offer at just Rs.1199, with which you will get to see the secondary connection at flat ₹150 pm (My99, Dhamaka199, and Dhoom packs) or ₹250 pm (other base packs).

    Can i visit any dealer for change to tata sky
    Many of reliance DTH customers facing problem
    With this issue
    That to tata sky customer care also to answer a cal they are taking 45minutes

      Hello Naresh,

      If you have given miss call from registered mobile number than you will definitely receive call back from them. There might be delay due to huge orders, so be assured. Secondly retailer don’t have any authority to issue you Tata Sky in return of your existing Reliance DTH.

      If you are having difficulty in calling Tata Sky, than you can have chat with them through their online portal.

        I have also faced similar problem. Now I am unable to do anything regarding this. They are even not calling back. Also I don’t remember my RMN and other ids that they require. I just know my smart card number. Please help and reply asap. Thanks

    I have a dvr set up box and tata sky refused to provided the same dvr setup box. They told me right now we are giving only HD setup only for free

      Yes they are correct, in exchange you can only get SD and HD Tata Sky Set-top box.

        VJay, Im a DVR customer paid around 9k for setup box with one subscription and got a feature to record the programs and tata sky replacing my 9k worth product to 2k with HD setup box. Its not fair and its a kind of cheating. Its a huge loss to me.

          Yes i can understand your situation, instead it will be huge loss for you. So i request you to contact Reliance Digital TV before they shutdown completely, also just tweet with your query on Reliance Twitter Profile as well as Tata Sky uploading the image of your set top box.

          Don’t take this topic lightly, as you have invested alot. Either Reliance should provide you refund and pick their Set-top box or else it should be replaced with same Tata Sky HDR Set-top box.

            Reliance customer care stop their service long back. If I call its automatically rejecting our call with the response as number temporarily unavailable. No official twitter page for Reliance Big tv. No response for our query or concern in Reliance Big tv app. Now no one able to contact Reliance Big tv.

            Hello Kumar,

            You are in very bad situation, didn’t even thought that Reliance would leave their subscribers like this in middle that too with those expensive DVR Set-top box which would be of no use now. This is usual behavior by Reliance, last year they have done same with their CDMA Subscribers.

    My big TV suspended in October 2017 I recharge my connection 50 rs & 250 rs in 03 November 2017 my big TV connection is actve and i watch my tv but some one tell me big tv is shut down in 18 November 2018 and migrated to tata sky so i miss calling to tata sky. tata sky customer care phone coming to me BUT MY INFORMATION IS NOT GETTING TO TATA SKY ~ and not give the tata sky connection

    As the service men of Tata sky came and they broke the dth (umbrella) and gave a silly reason that it is broken. And was asking 1000 rupees to pay. What should we do now.it is mentioned that it is free but they are charging some service charges.please reply me at your earliest.thank you you reply is very valuable for me
