What Is the FASTag Yearly Subscription Plan?
The subscription-based FASTag plan acts like an annual pass, allowing users to pass through toll booths without having to worry about repeated deductions from their FASTag wallet for each trip. This is a significant change from the traditional prepaid FASTag model, where users recharge their balance and pay per toll. While the prepaid option still remains available, users now have the option to upgrade to this subscription model if they find it more convenient or cost-effective.

Eligibility of the FASTag Yearly Subscription
- This annual FASTag plan is only available for private vehicles.
- Commercial vehicles are not eligible for the subscription-based FASTag model.
FASTag Annual Pass Usage Limit
- Once the payment of ₹3,000 is made, the FASTag plan is valid for 1 year from the date of activation.
- However, the plan includes a maximum limit of 200 trips.
- If you exceed 200 trips before the 1-year period ends, the toll charges for additional trips will start getting deducted from your regular FASTag balance, just like the standard prepaid method.
How to Apply for the FASTag Annual Pass
You can apply for the FASTag Yearly Subscription Plan through the following platforms:
FASTag Provider’s Mobile App
Use the app provided by your FASTag issuing bank or service provider. And apply for the Yearly FASTag Subscription by making the payment.
Rajmarg Yatra App
The Rajmarg Yatra App is an official app for highway-related services, including toll management. To apply for the yearly pass through this method follow the below steps:
On your phone open the app store and search for Rajmarg Yatra App, and install the app
Once the app is installed, launch the app
Allow all the permissions which is been prompted by the app to make the app function properly
A login page will be presented where you can login using mobile number, google account or apple account
To login using mobile, enter the mobile number and tap on login with mobile number
A one time password will be sent on your mobile number, enter the received code and tap on verify phone button
On next page you will be promoted to allow few permissions, tap on the continue button
Next you will be asked to select your language which you wish to set for the app
Select English or as per your preference
From the Homepage tap on the Annual Toll Pass
A banner of Annual Toll Pass will be presented showing its features and benefits
At the bottom of the banner tap on the Next button
Tap next, will again display the feature.
So you need to keep tapping on next button until the app is finished with explaining all the features
On final page you will be able to see begin button, tap on it to proceed with your application
A page will mention what all you will need to buy the annual toll pass, tap on the get started button appearing below
On next page enter your Vehicle Number which has Fastag linked with positive balance and tap on the next button
Your vehicle information will be fetched and displayed on the next screen
Double check if your vehicle details are correct and tap on the Proceed button
On next page you will see OTP Verification, you may complete the verification by sending the OTP to the mobile number as used while registering account or else you may enter a new mobile number by selecting use different mobile number (remember that this mobile number will be used for trip balance alerts, expiring pass, and other notifications)
Once you make selection, tap on the next button
You will receive one time password on your mobile number, enter the same and tap on proceed
On next page you will be able to see a FASTAG Preview Card which will display the annual pass details, as well as the fee which you need to pay, tick mark on the terms and conditions checkbox and tap on the proceed to payment
The page will be redirected to the payment gateway page, where you will need to make the payment
Once making the payment you will get redirected to the app and on tapping Annual Toll pass you will be able to see your FASTAG Annual Pass which will contain details like Tolls Crossing Numbers, Valid Until which is expiry of annual pass, and Status which will be active.
Now when your vehicle passes through the toll, no balance would be deducted from your wallet. And instead the it will be deducted from the number of crossing.

Once the payment is successfully made through any of the above platforms, your FASTag will be updated to the yearly subscription plan, and no additional amount will be deducted from your regular FASTag balance until you complete 200 trips.
