Every Indian might be aware of Aadhaar Card but still to make all of you aware let’s define Aadhaar Card in few words. Aadhaar is a 12 digit unique number issued by the Government of India as a proof of Identity. However now a days Aadhaar Card is also been counted as a valid Proof of Address Document.

The Aadhaar authority which is UIDAI maintains all the demographic as well biometric data which is captured during the enrollment process. So in future the Government can use the data for various purpose like Courts, Airports, and to track the identity of any person through Aadhaar Number.

e-Aadhaar Card Letter can be obtained through an online portal easily if you are having your Aadhaar Card Enrollment Slip with you or with Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID.

Even after waiting for long you haven’t received your Aadhaar Card through post on your postal Address, then there isn’t need to be worried. You can easily download e-Aadhaar Card Letter Copy Online and can use the same for various purposes same as original Aadhaar Card which you usually receive through the post.

Prerequisite

To download e-aadhaar online below are the requirements which you should fulfill.

✔️ Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID or VID
✔️ Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number

So now let’s move on to the process of downloading the e-Aadhaar Card Letter.

Right now there are several modes offered by the UIDAI through which Aadhaar can be downloaded. You can follow any of the below methods to download your Aadhaar Card.

e Aadhaar Download using UIDAI Web Portal

Through this mode Aadhaar can be downloaded using Aadhaar Number, Enrolment Number or VID.

Visit the Official UIDAI Web Portal https://uidai.gov.in/

Select your Preferred Language to Enter the Website

From the UIDAI main page, select Download Aadhaar

This will open a new page namely myAadhaar, select Download Aadhaar from this page

It will redirect to a new page, where in you need make selection from whether you need to download Aadhaar using Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID or VID

You can make selection of any as per the availability with you, all the mode will allow you to download the same Aadhaar. There won’t be any changes in your Aadhaar.

Once you make selection from the above option, enter the detail below as per the selection which you have made

Solve the captcha by entering the same as displayed in the image and select Send OTP

This will send a OTP on your Aadhaar registered mobile number

Enter the received OTP Code in the OTP field and select Verify and Download

Your Aadhaar will get downloaded on your device in PDF file format.

UIDAI Aadhaar Download using Aadhaar Number

Through this method, Aadhaar can only be downloaded using Aadhaar Number. This mode doesn’t accepts VID or Enrolment ID to download Aadhaar.

To download Aadhaar using Aadhaar Number visit the UIDAI portal https://uidai.gov.in/

Select your Preferred Language to Enter the Website

From the main page, select the Download Aadhaar option

This will land you to a new page called myAadhaar

On myAadhaar page select the login button

In the next page you will be asked to enter the 12 digits Aadhaar Number, enter the same and solve the captcha code

Once done, select send otp button

This will send a OTP on your registered Aadhaar Mobile Number

Enter the received OTP and select login button

The page will again redirect to the myAadhaar services page

From the myAadhaar page, select the Download Aadhaar option

This will show you Aadhaar demographics data, on the same page a download option will be available below

Select the download button and your Aadhaar will get downloaded.

After successful download to open the e-Aadhaar Card Letter you will need PDF Reader one of the best PDF Reader is Adobe Reader which you can download it by clicking here.
